Don’t be like me

My wife and I were together 9 years, married 6 when I started my affair. We have two kids. I didn’t realize just how good I had it. She was a supportive, loving, kind woman who put me and the kids before herself every time, and I didn’t appreciate that. I felt like she didn’t praise me enough for the things I did for the family, which I now realize was pretty bare bones compared to what she did for us. I felt like we didn’t have sex enough and like my efforts to look good for her weren’t appreciated or reciprocated. I resented how much time she spent with the kids vs. with me. I thought she didn’t put in enough effort to be interested in my hobbies.

My AP was ten years younger than me, when the affair started I was 31 and she was 21. I liked the attention from a younger woman who wasn’t always tired from keeping up with the kids and who stroked my inflated ego. I was a selfish bastard. I drank too much, I told my wife I was working late or hanging out with friends when really I was with my AP.

Site of San Jose meth lab, bomb-making operation on sale for $1.5M

A spacious six-bedroom San Jose residence, spanning 6,000 square feet, which previously contained a meth lab and bomb-making operation, is on the market for $1.5 million.

The official Redfin listing for the property at 668 Potomac Court mentions the presence of a “dormant meth lab and related contamination,” directing potential buyers to county records for details.

The listing further states that any cleanup and associated expenses fall on the shoulders of the future owner. Moreover, the property hasn’t been certified as contamination-free, and access is restricted until the Santa Clara County Health Department gives the green light.

On the brighter side:

The property boasts a prime location opposite Gunderson High School and offers easy freeway access, as highlighted by its Zillow listing.

Cindy Selleos, the listing agent from Keller Williams Realty-Silicon Valley, hasn’t commented on the listing. However, the recent $125,000 price hike suggests she’s optimistic about its sale.

The Kobeissi Letter, a website offering insights into global capital markets, humorously pointed out the listing, commenting on the peculiar state of the current housing market. The site also mentioned that other properties in the vicinity, without a meth lab history, are priced around $1.6 million.

Historically, the house was occupied by Peter Karasev. He was taken into custody in March when authorities discovered explosive materials and drug-related equipment on the premises.

I don’t know about everyone else but I really didn’t understand how to take proper photos and it lead to me wasting a bunch of time swiping on tinder and doubting myself.

Photofeeler is sorta like Tinder but you just get the raw data on what people think about your pics. I found out real quick that some selfies that I thought were nice weren’t nice at all. I followed the advice on their blog and had my mom take some pics of me (your mom wants you to find someone too, bro. Don’t be afraid to ask her for help). Quickly got some data saying that the photos were nice and started using them. The difference has been huge!

In fact, my highest rated photo on photofeeler was this kinda messy photo that I definitely brushed off at first. But the data spoke for itself and as soon as I made it my main tinder photo BAM I went from a match every few months (and they mostly ghosted me) to several per week with good convo and actual dates.
I encourage anyone sitting on the toilet swiping and wondering when they’re gonna go on a date to check out photofeeler. If you’re gonna spend a bunch of time on tinder it’s probably best to make the best of that time, right?
