1) Love yourself

You deserve the best. You should strive for your potential – the most fulfilled version of yourself – and that potential is virtually limitless. This is the single most important mindset to adopt, as it serves as a foundation for literally everything else. It’s not a case of arrogance or entitlement, but in the sense that you would want the best for a family member of SO that you deeply love.

There’s nothing quite like the feeling of seeing your neighbor drive up in their beautiful new car or hearing about their fabulous planned vacation.

It can make you forget about every other plan or goal you’ve made for yourself. Keeping up with the Joneses can eat away at your financial dreams.

These are helpful things to look for when trying to gauge attraction.

1. If you’re talking to a cashier and she tells you for any reason when she gets off work, she wants you to come back.

2. If a girl gives you her number, on some level she is interested. Meaning she gives it to you without you prompting her first, though often if she gives it to you after you ask her it still means she’s interested* If a girl repeatedly mentions how she wishes she had a nice guy to date, she is interested.

If You’re Not Happy Alone Then You Won’t Be Happy In A Relationship

February 10, 2023

being happy alone

“I’ll be happy when I get a girlfriend.”

“If I just wasn’t coming home to an empty house then life would be so much better.”

“I need to have someone who loves me before I will feel better about myself.”

It’s hard to tell someone in quicksand to stop flailing to get out. Loneliness and sadness can make happily ever after sound very tempting regardless of where it comes from.

The Consequence Of Inaction Is Always Greater Than The Consequence From Action

February 8, 2023

I haven’t been alive too long, but I’ve just noticed that taking action has less of a damaging effect than not taking action. It may damage you financially, but over time, you may come to recover that money. But on the whole, here’s what I mean:

A lot of people are afraid of taking action and executing because they feel they’re going to mess up and diminish their self-image, destroy their financial standing, or some other type of fear.

The Fundamentals of Touching, When it Comes To Dating

February 7, 2023

A few of you are new to dating. That can be tough to begin with, but when you haven’t had any guidance, it can be terrifying. Life isn’t the same now as it once was, anyone who denies that is just a liar… specifically in that there’s less personal reaction taking place in person than ever before. It makes it harder to navigate.

With that in mind, here are some tips, with examples, of how to initiate touching. I’m extremely traditional and old fashioned. Why? Because I have watched it work and helped tens of thousands of people use traditional methods to make their relationships work/ work again. If you don’t want traditional roles of male versus female, I welcome your back button into the conversation at this time. 😉

9 Rules I Learned About Life From Getting Old

February 6, 2023

(photo: @brunus)

1) People matter the most

I cannot emphasize this enough. Life is short. Relationships are valuable, especially those healthy ones that make you a better person. The older I get the more I prioritize my time to spend it with the people who I love. This means trips back home to my parent’s house, doing activities my friends want to do even if I am not super excited about it (an example would be shopping. I am a girl who hates to shop but loves my friends so I end up at malls a bit.), or even just staying in and having people over. I rarely say no when someone wants to hang out. Their happiness is my own, and I want to encourage them in their happiness.
