Residents Of Portugal Reveal How The Decriminalization Of Drugs Has Affected Their Country

November 16, 2020

portugal decriminalized drugs

1. Its working out really well, heroin use rate is down 50%, there’s also been a sharp decline in aids sufferers, i think it’s because it became less taboo, specially since if you’re a heroin user you can go to a clinic where they will give you clean needles for free, and you can take your drugs in a safe environment.

When you get caught with small amounts of drugs all that the police CAN do is fine you and advise you to go to some specialists that tell you the harms of what you’re doing and offer free rehab, no strings attached.

Mussolini headquarters

The headquarters of Mussolini’s Italian Fascist Party, 1934

The building in the picture is Palazzo Braschi in Rome, the headquarters of the Fascist Party Federation (the local one, not the national Party headquarters). It was not always covered up like that; this set-up was displayed for the 1934 elections, in which Italians were called to vote either for or against the Fascist representatives list. The “SI SI…” lettering (meaning “Yes Yes…”) was propaganda for one of the two plebiscite elections held during the Fascist Regime, where electors didn’t vote for individual parties (there wasn’t any but the Fascist one), neither for single candidates, but just voted “Yes” or “No” to a single list of candidates presented by the Duce himself.

This is a total game changer for anyone that plays video games on their phones

The form factor of the kishi, its light weight, responsive yet quiet buttons and ingenious design make it the best mobile phone controller you can buy. My galaxy note 20 ultra fits into it snuggly. There is no controller lag or latency, which I used to notice when pairing my Bluetooth Xbox controller. Best part is this works with COD mobile, fortnite, and Xbox game pass!

What Makes The AK-47 One Of The Most Reliable Guns In The World?

November 13, 2020

ak-47

The tolerances(spaces between moving parts) in the AK are loose. There’s lots of room for gunk and dirt to get in there and the gun will still fire and cycle when the trigger is pulled. With loose tolerances, failure to properly clean and lube the weapon won’t hinder it from firing like the M-16 from the Vietnam era.

In addition the AK uses a gas piston technology rather than direct impingement. Both systems use the gas from the recently fired round to load the next round. With the AK the gas is directed to a piston rather than directly at the bolt carrier. This keeps the bolt cleaner and results in less jams. However, it creates additional movement not present in the direct method and therefore sacrifices accuracy.
