Intermittent fasting is simply eating within certain windows of time. It is NOT starving yourself like some people think. At one point I was doing an 18 hour fast with the 6 hour eating period. With the way my schedule was at the time, I would start my first meal around 11am and stop around 6pm or so (depended on the day). Like most people, I hated going to sleep hungry so I pushed my window further into the day because I could tolerate being hungry in the morning but I could not tolerate it while trying to sleep. Like some other people have already stated, your body WILL adjust and every day it becomes easier and easier.

The checkerboard pattern comes from a plain weave of the carbon fiber interlaced at 90-degree angles to form a product that is ultralight – 4.8 pounds – and 50 times stronger than carbon steel. The helmet’s polycarbonate visor protrudes like a light bulb, but the shell is otherwise more streamlined than previous helmets and integrates features such as night-vision goggles, which once required fixing separate hardware to an external attachment point. The helmet’s foam inner shell requires at least four hours of custom fitting to each pilot before it’s cut by laser; the precision ensures that its eye tracking and visor display stay aligned even during high-G maneuvers.

I get many jokes about my appearance. It’s understood. If I didn’t look the way I did and saw somebody who had my appearance I probably would have some funny shit to say too. Hell I even have fun about myself sometimes too. But this is what I know. I know for a fact I won’t get another chance at this life. I know for a fact it could of been me and not my grandfather left in the fire. I know I speak for the thousands of others who are afraid to show their face because the fear of being judged. It’s not our fault. We didn’t say “hell yea I want that fire” we all have a test. Mine starts with accepting my appearance in myself that’s why there is nothing anybody can say to me that would hurt my feelings. I hope my battle helps you with your insecurities. Pros:

1) If legalized, sex workers would then be able to enjoy full protection of the law. This is huge, and something that is often overlooked. If a patron is abusive, threatening, or generally just wrongs them in a way that is unlawful, current day sex workers have nearly no options. If they go to the police, they must first admit they committed a crime before accusing the person who wronged them. It is incredibly unlikely that their accusation will lead to anything, but the fact that they admitted to a crime will almost certainly lead to consequences for them. This is an insane and unfair imbalance in power.

2) Personal bodily autonomy means that we’re allowed to do with our bodies what we like, and with whom. If I want to have sex with someone and charge them money, interfering with that is stripping me of my right to do what I want with the one thing that is more mine than any other thing.

Cons:

1) Legalized prostitution seems to lead to an increase in sex trafficking anywhere that it’s implemented. I’m not going to speculate no the whys or the hows, but this is obviously incredibly bad.

2) Sexual consent in situations where someone is financially forced into sex work is nebulous at best. The patron of a sex worker doesn’t need to be coercing the worker for the worker too be coerced. If the sex worker lacks the money for food or shelter and sex work is their only option to survive, meaningful consent seems impossible to establish. Their patron might not be holding a gun to their head, but their well being still hinges on having sex with people who they likely would not otherwise be willing to.
