Why You Get Used By Women

April 12, 2022

nice guys

We live in a generation of angry young men. Men who harbor massive resentment towards women and blame them for their romantic shortcomings. But is that even fair?

You claim that women use and lead you on. That your time is disrespected. You always get friend zoned for no reason.

You go online and make grand statements such as, “Women only date assholes”. Then you tell yourself, “This is why I don’t even try in the first place.”

Stop Waiting. Start Doing.

April 11, 2022

Stop waiting. Start doing.

Stop waiting. Start doing. It’s all too easy to tell ourselves that once we lose twenty pounds, we’ll be happy, or once we have more free time, we’ll start reading more, or once we’re on that new project at work and have shorter hours, we’ll start going back to the gym. We think we’re too busy now to do that thing we want to do, or we’ll be happy once we’ve done that thing, but we haven’t even started working on it.

The Daily Man-Up

March 24, 2022

“When I was sixteen, I had just two things on my mind – girls and cars. I wasn’t very good with girls. So I thought about cars. I thought about girls, too, but I had more luck with cars.

Let’s say that when I turned sixteen, a genie had appeared to me. And that genie said, ‘Warren, I’m going to give you the car of your choice. It’ll be here tomorrow morning with a big bow tied on it. Brand-new. And it’s all yours.’

Having heard all the genie stories, I would say, ‘What’s the catch?’ And the genie would answer, ‘There’s only one catch. This is the last car you’re ever going to get in your life. So it’s got to last a lifetime.’

7 Real Ways Social Media Can Ruin Your Life

March 8, 2022

social media ruins you life

It is such an integral part of the daily grind that we hardly notice it anymore but the verdict is in – social media can ruin your life.

If you are like most people you will have already checked Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter etc. multiple times today, perhaps spending up to 9 hours a day doing so if research is to be believed. We use it as a distraction and release from work, to catch up with friends, and to see what other people are up to. Relaxing, right?

Well, apparently no.

Instead of Positive Thinking, Try Positive Acting

February 18, 2022

Let’s start with a short exercise:

Think for a second, what do happy, organized, productive people DO?

How do they behave?

Now, copy their behavior, and act as if you already felt or thought what you desired to feel.

Behavior creates and changes thoughts, emotions, and feelings — and in the long run, changes the identity, thought patterns, and habits for good.

Life Isn’t About What Happens To You, It’s About How You React To It

February 16, 2022

Nick Santonastasso and the rock

Think about this one for a second…. @nicksanto534 was born with one arm and no legs. In his mind, there’s nothing he can’t do… and he’s right. He’s right because he does everything he sets his mind to. Competed as an amateur wrestler, motivational speaker, trains like a beast and today he competes in his first bodybuilding contest. We chatted after my workout about the power of choice. He said, I could’ve been pissed at the world for being born like this, but instead I choose to live life to the fullest, be happy and crush everything I put my mind to and hopefully, I can inspire people to do the same. Yes sir. Life deals us cards on a daily basis, but we always get to decide how we’re gonna play ’em. Keep crushing life my man and inspiring all those around you. And thank you for helping frame my perspective on life just a little bit more.

– The Rock

Some Great Life Advice To Start Monday Off

February 7, 2022

Here is some unsolicited advice that took time for me to understand.

Embrace the feeling of uncertainty and doubt. Learn to make the best decisions you know how to, and accept that you will probably be wrong about something in some way, a lot of the time. Your life is shifting from having the path laid out before you to follow, to a constant cross roads of you needing to define the way forward for yourself.

How Much Can You Know About Yourself If You Never Been In A Fight

February 1, 2022

Fighting isn’t macho. It’s not how a man proves himself to another man or how he proves himself to a lady. Fighting has nothing to do with anything but the individual and his desire to prove to himself that he can face his fears, that he can take the pain of getting hit and hit back.
