We’ve seen it time and time again. That one co-worker who is obese but is only attracted to people of a healthy weight, that one cousin who prefers to date highly successful people but have no ambition whatsoever, and that one friend who you love to death but they carry themselves like they’re in a post-apocalyptic era and for some reason they only want to date Instagram models.
Truth be told, online dating used to be brutal for me. Dating involves some measure of rejection. It’s not for the thin-skinned. I used to wring my hands writing carefully curated emails to all the hot chicks on a site. It was a part-time job going through all the profiles of girls living in Chicago.
I can’t predict when you’ll find love, but I’m confident that you won’t find the girl of your dreams while staying home and playing with yourself. So get back online and keep looking.

It’s hard to tell someone in quicksand to stop flailing to get out. Loneliness and sadness can make happily ever after sound very tempting regardless of where it comes from.

You aren’t in love. You aren’t infatuated. Your ego is damaged.
When people use us, then toss us to the side, that desire to win them over isn’t because we really want to be with them. It isn’t even really a desire for them. It’s a desire to prove our worth. When someone rejects you after using you, your ego and sense of pride is damaged, because they were able to play your emotions for them to their advantage, and get what they wanted, or what they think they wanted.

Although we like to think of women as gentle and kind beings, there are some that do nothing but breed chaos, misunderstanding and insanity in relationships–especially when things don’t go their way. Whether these behaviors originate from a chemical imbalance or from the environment in which they were raised, one thing is for sure–dating a nut job can negatively affect all areas of your life; therefore, your goal should be to spot these gals before things get out of control. If you attempt it and it comes out awkward, whatever, screw it. you tried. if she likes you, she won’t care.
If you attempt it and comes out beautifully done, great awesome! you did it!
Regardless, if you’re feeling it, go for the kiss on the first or second date.
It will take you from being seen as a friend to now being seen as a romantic and sexual option.
And that’s ultimately the goal to being in a relationship right?
“I met this girl in January of this year at the start of the second semester at our university when we worked in one of the rec centers together. She was a freshman and I was a Junior. She started college a semester late (she said because of family issues) and said she was nervous about it, so I decided to show her around a bit. We got lunch a few times during the first month on campus and I gave her tours of the campus.
