Fist of the North Star

Face it, we anime fans are a bloodthirsty bunch. And no film brings the gory goods like 1986’s Fist of the North Star. This movie is a feast for the eyes and ear drums, serving up enough over-the-top hyperviolence to satiate even the most depraved animation geeks.

Bad Financial Decision Making of the Day

October 23, 2023

Okay so I know it sounds crazy but basically I’ve had six cars this year since May for a number of reasons and now have about 20-22k in negative equity.

I am now in a 2023 BMW X3 with a ridiculous car payment. My financial situation has since changed since buying this car as I am now the primary caregiver of a loved one.

I want to substantially lower my car monthly payments (like by $400) so I’m thinking about getting a $26k CPO Toyota Camry.

I have pre approval through Navy Fed who I hear is known to exceed the usual LTV rate of 125%. I’m think it would make sense to switch to a car that is more reliable, significantly less to maintain although I’ll be paying way more than it’s worth versus staying in this very expensive ($73k) car.

JFK’s Harvard Application Essay

The reasons that I have for wishing to go to Harvard are several. I feel that Harvard can give me a better background and a better liberal education than any other university. I have always wanted to go there, as I have felt that it is not just another college, but is a university with something definite to offer. Then too, I would like to go to the same college as my father. To be a “Harvard man” is an enviable distinction, and one that I sincerely hope I shall attain.

Why It’s Vital to Have People Who Can ‘Speak Into Your Life’

October 23, 2023

In the grand theater of life, every individual is both an actor and an audience member. We play our roles, express our scripts, and hope to resonate with those watching. But sometimes, in our soliloquies and monologues, we may miss the cues, the undercurrents, or the bigger picture. This is where having someone to ‘speak into your life’ becomes a game-changer.

Confession of the Day

October 20, 2023

Basically I met my bf 4 years ago, he was running an event company until Covid started. The last event he had failed and he hasn’t had one since.

He moved in almost right away & asked me to support him with his new venture, which is a blockchain mobile app, he gave me 49%. I’m a ui/ux designer and digital marketing specialist and have been freelancing since 2015, I was making decent money for just me on my own, had a sole proprietor etc… so I was happy to help. Since I agreed to help, he thought it wasn’t worth him getting a job because he wanted to focus on the business, he was convinced that income would start coming in within a few months, despite me telling him that may be unrealistic.

What Was It Like To Fight Americans During World War 2?

October 20, 2023

If you were a German fighting Americans at the start of Operation Torch in Tunisia, you’d have a mixed view of American soldiers.

They were certainly brave, but they lacked experience of the British and ran into ambushes that the Brits had learned to avoid in 1941.

Their equipment was generally good, and they were well supplied.

So well supplied in fact, that you and your unit was evacuated to Sicily after your own supplies dwindled to nothing and the Americans were able to flank you.

Poll of the Day

October 20, 2023

I’m seeing this girl since three months and we get along very well, we never had sex even if there were time I thought it was going to be the case.

Two days ago she told me and showed me her giant clit (5 inches), which kind of look like a penis. I knew it existed but never saw this in my real life.

I really like her and a don’t want to be shallow but I’m confused. I’m trying to be supportive and comprehensive but I’m not sure how the sex can be like in a situation like this one.
