When we feel something pleasurable, our brain releases dopamine. This dopamine hit leaves us feeling you euphoric. It leaves us feeling pleasure and joy and satisfaction.
And every time you masturbated to pornography, your brain released dopamine. And the more you did it, the more dopamine was released.
I think people need to start to realize that there is no such thing as “benefits” or “superpowers” when it comes to quitting your porn addiction.
Now the truth is, from my experiences is, all that is happening when you are quitting Porn, YOU are just becoming YOU again.
And your TRUE self, free from any addictions or compulsive behaviors is CONFIDENT, FILLED WITH ENERGY, MOTIVATED, CREATIVE, PASSIONATE and EMPATHETIC.
Going porn free is not some magic hocus pocus pseudo-science bullshit. Its fucking real. Your brain starts to rewire and your dopamine sensitivity is returning back to normal once you cut off this filthy addiction.

I’m 30 and started smoking when i was 12. By the time i was 15 I was a full fledged pack a day smoker. Over the years I have witnessed many people fall prey to the habit.
You start by smoking here and there, maybe you don’t inhale at first, maybe you just like to blow it out your nose or smoke it like a cigar. It’s only on certain occasions.
If you are fiddling with cigarettes, you likely have friends that are smoking, also. so you are hanging out, maybe having a few beers, and you see them smoking and decide to be social with them, and also have a cig, but alas, you have none. So you bum a few off a friend for the night. you kind of like it. it just feels good to have one with some drinks or just when you’re talking and laughing. Soon you do this every time you get together for a drink/movie/whatever. It’s not a big deal, it’s just once in a blue moon.
1. Wake up dopesick at about 8-9 am. Shoot up heroin in the bathroom with the shower running so room mates didn’t know what I was up to. Often mixed in meth/coke for the energy boost.
I would then get ready and drive to work as a salesman for a major cell phone retailer. Shoot up again in the car before I walked in the door. Many days I would steal iPhones or galaxy s3 phones and pawn them to stay high. It’s a miracle they can’t prove it and just withheld my last paycheck, or I would be in prison today for theft over $20k.
