Q: Will it make me fulfilled?
A: Ummm sometimes? Honestly, the first year of her life, I felt less fulfilled than I ever have because I was spending most of my time taking care of a tiny baby that couldn’t talk or interact in a way that was interesting to me, and it meant that I couldn’t do things that really DO make me fulfilled, like writing and creating. Now that she’s almost 3, I have a lot more moments where I feel proud or amused or loving toward her, but to be honest, I don’t feel fulfilled by our relationship. It’s something different.

In 1944 a black teenager named George Stinney Jr was accused of murdering two white girls on flimsy evidence, he was tried without legal representation with an all-white jury, and he was executed by electric chair at the age of 14.
He was accused of killing two white girls in a rural part of a South Carolina mill town. He actually participated in the town’s search party for the girls, but he made the fatal mistake of telling people that he had seen the girls on the day they died. One day later, he was arrested and his family was forced to leave the town. His father was fired from his job at the mill, and his siblings were told that they would be lynched if they didn’t leave immediately. The court refused to hear his appeal, and the appeals on his behalf to the governor for clemency were denied. He is the youngest American to be sentenced to death and executed.
Executioners noted that he was too small for the electric chair when he died; the straps did not fit him, an electrode was too big for his leg, and the boy had to sit on a bible to fit properly in the chair.

How Does Information Become Classified?
Information is classified based on how much damage the material would do to National Security. There are technically only 4 levels of classification: Unclassified, Classified, Secret, and Top Secret, but there are other descriptions that can be attached to those classifications to further instruct how to handle those materials. As an example SBU refers to something that is Sensitive but Unclassified. There are also things called “Read Ons” where you may have the correct clearance to handle a particular level of classified material but you need to be “read on” to some special instructions that are specific to that document, building, room, etc.

Specific – instead of saying, “I want to lose weight this year”, set a specific weight. “I want to lose 25 lbs by 2021”
Measurable – 25 lbs is the goal and you can see your progress along the way
Achievable – 25 lbs is something one could do without significant risk to their health (depending on their weight)
Realistic/Relevant – Can you do it? Is it worth the time?
Time oriented – “I want to lose 10 lbs by month 6, 15 by month 8, 25 by 12”.
