In business generally the way that one company takes over another is through negotiations, contracts, and payment. Look at it like this: Company A wants to obtain Company B. Company A and B begin having discussions where Company A outlines all of the advantages of being acquired by Company A (e.g. easier access to resources, streamlined processes, a stronger legal department to protect against lawsuits, etc.) until eventually an agreement is made and Company A takes over Company B.

A man says he lives in one of the smallest apartments in New York City and pays $950 for the 100-square-foot room.

Ron Ervin first gained attention on TikTok, where he attempted to take the unofficial title from AJ Webber, a model and aspiring actor whose minuscule East Village abode went viral last year.

“This guy has a queen-size mattress in his apartment,” Ervin riffed. “If I brought a queen-size mattress into my New York apartment it would crush me to death… Oh you have an actual closet to put your clothes in? Okay Bill Gates.”

What Is The Simulation Universe Theory

Here’s how this theory goes. If a society gets advanced enough they would eventually be able to create a simulation of their universe that would be extensive enough to cover everything down to subatomic particles.

Once a society gets this advanced, eventually they are going to run such a simulation, to test theories on universal evolution, or even societal evolution. Maybe even theories on sentience itself.

The O’Halloran sisters, armed with poles and boiling water, fended off the officers evicting their family during the Irish Land War, 1889

The Second Irish Land Act of 1881 had attempted to give tenants more security by paving the way for rent reductions, guarantees of the same rent for periods of 15 years, and, in some cases, eventual proprietorship.

O’Callaghan had been charging the O’Halloran family £31, which the court ordered be reduced to £22-10 shillings, a sum the family maintained was unfair, since in their grandfather’s time the rent had been as low as £13-10 shillings.

They became one of the families to participate in the Bodyke rent boycotts, and in June 1887 they prepared to resist eviction from the land their family had lived on and tended for generations.
