Cold Case Homicides Playing Cards

“Cold Case Homicides Playing Cards.” The deck of 52 playing cards each have victims information and are passed out to inmates in hopes they will come forward with any information. Florida has an average of 2-3 solved cases per deck. 

In July 2007, approximately 100,000 decks of cold case playing cards were distributed to inmates in the state’s prisons. The two editions featured 104 unsolved cases from across Florida.

I’m a resident of Melrose/Fairfax and own a biz in Weho. What I saw last night was not a protest.

I saw mom and pop shops I personally know looted. This wasn’t one group I saw hundreds if not thousands of kids robbing the very businesses that would rally behind them. I saw butcher get robbed, I saw a nail salon robbed. You didn’t get me woke to anything, if anything I am more conflicted on lines than ever. They destroyed my community for sneakers and hoodies last night. Please keep these businesses in your thoughts, as most of us are mom and pops sorry for rant but I’m heart broken

The Zodiac Killer’s 340-symbol cipher from Nov. 8, 1969

The Zodiac Killer was a serial killer who operated in northern California in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The killer’s identity remains unknown. The Zodiac murdered victims in Benicia, Vallejo, Lake Berryessa, and San Francisco between December 1968 and October 1969. Four men and three women between the ages of 16 and 29 were targeted. The killer originated the name “Zodiac” in a series of taunting letters sent to the local Bay Area press. These letters included four cryptograms (or ciphers). Of the four cryptograms sent, only one has been definitively solved.
