Why Are Gun Silencers Not Used Extensively Among Criminals?

  1. They don’t “silence” weapons that effectively – Despite what you see in films, the best quality firearms suppressors shave only 20-40 dB off of the sound of a firearm discharging. It’s often not worth the time,nor the effort to obtain one since it doesn’t suppress the sound that well.
  2. They are expensive – Sound suppressors purchased legally aren’t cheap; those bought on the street are sold for very high amounts of money. Most criminals steal the weapons they use or they purchase them stolen from street sources. A weapon is a high dollar acquisition, leaving little for accessories.

1. Sometimes I remember just how lonely I am, how deprived of physical or emotional intimacy I am, and it just leaves me with a cold, numb, empty feeling that radiates from my core to my extremities.

Sometimes I think back on a time, any time, that a girl smiled at me, or laughed at a joke, or any basic, every day, little social cue that she’s potentially a little interested, and I’m overcome with frustration bordering on rage because I couldn’t bring myself to do anything about it.

When that happens I might just sort of growl/moan to myself if I’m somewhere with other people around, but if I’m alone (especially in the car)I’ll scream at the top of my lungs, either a stream of profanities or just a wordless bellow.

She lived with her three sisters and her parents Josef and Anna. The family were devout Roman Catholics who attended Mass twice a week.

Her father Josef had considered training as a priest and three of her aunts were nuns.

As a child her mother Anna, encouraged Anneliese and her sisters to atone for the sins of others. Anna, as she was known, led a normal life until the age of 16 when she suffered a severe epileptic fit.

Though I said daughter, she wasn’t technically my daughter. She was my sister’s child. My sister OD’ed when the baby was around a year old. I was 19 at that time and in college.

I got custody. I never wanted children. I wanted to be a doctor. I wanted to go a different path than the path my family took. But I felt responsible to take her in. So, I dropped out. Took care of her. Loved her. Life was hard but we got by. I was working any jobs I could get and I didn’t have any life. I didn’t have any friends. I didn’t have any time to date. The Apple Car has mostly been a concept limited to speculation and rumors, with minimal information released regarding product design and launch dates and even no confirmation that they are developing their own electric vehicle. In turn, fans have resorted to looking at patents Apple recently filed to inform their own conclusions.

In absence of any further details, a team at Vanarama has taken matters into their own hands and designed a concept car “using genuine patents filed by Apple Inc.” Filling in the blanks, Vanarama has recreated the possible aesthetic of what Apple’s futuristic car might look like through an interactive 3D model.
