1. My experience of being loved by a girl is that it is an amazing feeling that is hard to describe concisely. She has accepted me for who I am, deemed me worthy, and has decided to make me a significant part of her life. In order for that to work, I am also accepting her and deeming her worthy enough for me. She is the person I think of first whenever I hear a new joke. If I taste something amazing, I make sure that she gets some if it too, because I want her to experience it. My happiness is somewhat bound to her happiness. Seeing her smile makes me smile. When she is not feeling well I want to be there to take care of her. In medieval Germany, husbands and wives could fight in a marital duel in order to legally settle their disputes.

According to the manuscript, the husband was placed in a hole that came up to his waist, and he was armed with a club. The wife would stand at the edge of the hole, and she would be given a cloth with a four or five pound stone in one end of it. His club and her sling were both the same length. Presumably, the man was in the hole in an attempt to even the playing field.

The duel would only take place if they could not compromise and make peace with each other. If the husband lost the duel, he would have his head cut off. If the wife lost the duel, she would be buried alive.

A mother whose daughter was having brain surgery, called the Mister Rogers Neighborhood studio to ask for a signed photo. After hearing about this, Mr Rogers flew to the hospital to see her.

“Mr. Rogers would call the hospital every day to check up on me,” said Beth. “When he found out I wasn’t improving, he decided to make a trip.”

Rogers’ only request was that the visit be between him and Beth. No press.

So, he flew from Pittsburgh to Baltimore. A friend picked him up from the airport and drove him to John Hopkins Hospital where he sat beside Beth in her comatose state.Beth’s family and nurses stood in the doorway watching as Rogers removed his puppets from his case.“He gave Beth her own private show,” said Kathy.
