I always plan a ton before carrying out the actual tasks as a way to avoid doing the actual things so that I can have a perfect start for another task that I will never take action for or just give up half way through.
I always convince myself that I will do it when the minute hand hits 0, 15, 30 because it just doesn’t feel right starting anything when the time is as odd as something like 11:47. Guess what. I never do it even when it’s a perfect 12:00.
And since I have already lost a few hours to procrastination so basically my perfectly planned-out-day of achievement is ruined, so I may as well just screw the rest of the day by doing nothing because what’s the point. How about count on my tomorrow self and hope that he will be magically responsible and do all the work that I dodged today, although I know he’ll be just a same piece of fk I am today.
Admit it, if I am not doing it now, I will never do it.
If you are not doing it now, what you need to be focused on is not to come up with another GENIUS plan to get you out of the shxthole of self-loathing, BUT prepare yourself for the acceptance of the factually factual fact that you will definitely be like this for the rest of your life. Period.
