I can’t believe how much my allergies improved (virtually gone now) since I started doing nasal irrigation about a year ago. What really pissed me off is that my doctor never once suggested it. Then when I told him I’d been trying it and that it was amazing, he was like “oh that’s a good idea”.
It’s a little weird the first couple times, but it quickly becomes routine and even kind of boring. Using a neti pot takes 5 minutes tops; it’s not uncomfortable (you can’t feel anything in your sinuses – apparently no nerve endings in there), and I get huge relief from the usual allergy symptoms of itchy eyes, runny nose, etc.
And if you don’t want to go the convential route for attacking allergies, these pills are effective and they don’t make you drowsy at all!
